Story:
This 2010 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport came to us with a hurt motor. The car was a stock bottom end ls3 running an ECS Supercharger setup on low boost.
We took a couple steps of troubleshooting to know that the engine was hurt pretty badly. So we didn't waste time. So we went ahead and pulled the motor out. We then worked with PER to build a stout 6.2L forged bottom end for the customer. Needless to say as soon as the motor gets put back in, she will be much healthier and probably a little more fun. Full parts list will be provided at time of finishing.
UPDATE: -January 4th, 2017-
The car is all back together and the customer came and picked it up for the 500 mile break in period. Got it back on the rollers and started tuning. Took a lot of time to dial in the fuel trims based on the fact we had to edit an existing tune. But initially everything was going good. After a few tweaks we got her to bellow out a healthy and safe 649whp / 658tq with 8psi PEAK at 6500rpm. Thats easily a 70whp /100tq greater then the previous dyno graphs. Next up, more fuel and more boost!
UPDATE: -March 6th, 2017-
During the process of tuning last time around. We discovered that the supplied BAP system that came with the supercharged kit was faulty. Not only did it burn up almost every wire of the fuel system. But it also burnt out the fuel pump. That being said we went ahead and installed a Walbro 450lph in tank pump that will handle more then enough fuel for the current setup. After some adjustments with new and strong fuel pump. The car actually picked up some power and is now north of 650whp / 680tq!!! still only 7.5psi.
On top of that we invited the customer to represent our vendor booth at the Chicagoland Tuner Galleria show that takes part at the same time as World of Wheels. So he got to show off this beauty of a build.
