Story:
Originally this Trans Am came to us for a routine cam swap. While removing the old parts we noticed there was unusual wear marks on the lifters and cam. They were ground down and scored very badly. This lead us to be worried about the rest of the engine. Sadly at the time we had to report to the customer that this motor was needing help. He wanted to make sure it was done right so we went ahead and pulled out the motor and sent it off to Opel Engineering to be cleaned and spec'd correctly. Pairing to the newly machined block was a stock crank forged rotating assembly from Texas Speed. Now this motor is ready for boost if the owner ever decided to take that leap. Stay tuned as we update this and wrap up the process.
